Anjana Om Kashyap, TV Today Network file Rs 2 Cr defamation suit against Khan Sir

Sr. Journalist and noted anchor Anjana Om Kashyap and TV Today Network have filed a Rs 2 crore defamation suit before the Delhi High Court against educator Faisal Khan, popularly known as Khan Sir, according to media reports.
As per reports, the suit pertains to allegedly defamatory remarks made by Khan Sir against Kashyap in connection with her coverage of "star teachers" and the online education ecosystem. The controversy reportedly emerged during a live debate on the NEET examination system, where Kashyap is said to have criticised certain online educators, referring to them as "frauds" and "explainers" focused on garnering views.
The plaintiffs have sought the removal of the allegedly defamatory content from social media and online platforms. The matter is scheduled to be heard by a vacation bench of Justice Neena Bansal Krishna.
