RAM Ratings Week 24: Fever FM retains lead position in Mumbai and Delhi
Radio City and Radio Mirchi continued to lead in Bangalore and Kolkata, respectively
Week 24 of the RAM ratings saw Fever FM continue in the leading position in Mumbai and Delhi, while Radio City and Radio Mirchi continued to lead in Bangalore and Kolkata, respectively.
In Mumbai, in a universe of 12.2 million listeners, Fever FM remained at the top spot with a share of 16.4 per cent, followed by Radio Mirchi in the second spot with 13.8 per cent. Big FM climbed to third spot with 12.5 per cent. Radio City slipped to fourth spot with 12.4 per cent while Radio Nasha took the fifth spot with 10.7 per cent. Early Morning, followed by mid-morning and morning time band observed the highest listenership in total radio.
Fever FM also held the top position in Delhi, with 19.3 per cent share in a universe of 16.5 million listeners. Radio City followed in the second spot with a 12.5 per cent share, while Radio Mirchi held on to the third position with a 12.3 per cent share. Radio Nasha and AIR FM 2 Gold took the fourth and fifth spot with 12.2 and 10 per cent share respectively.
Mid-morning, followed by morning and early morning time band observed the highest listenership.
In Bangalore, Radio City retained its No.1 position with a 24.5 per cent share out of a universe of 5.3 million users. This was followed by Big FM in the second spot and Radio Mirchi in third with 17.8 and 17.1 per cent, respectively. Fever and AIRFM 1 Rainbow stood fourth and fifth with 14 and 6.5 per cent share respectively. Evening followed by mid-morning and night time band observed the highest listenership in total radio.
Radio Mirchi dominated in Kolkata with 19 per cent share in a universe of 9 million listeners. Fever FM held the second spot with 18 per cent, while Big FM took 17.7 per cent share at the third spot. Aamar FM and Red FM ranked fourth and fifth with 9.5 and 9.2 per cent share respectively. Afternoon, followed by mid-morning and morning time bands observed the highest listenership on total radio.
