Jury decides on Golden Mikes 2014 winners
The 11-member jury panel, led by Bharat Patel, met in Mumbai yesterday to deliberate on the 537 entries received across 41 categories for the radio advertising award

Stage is set for the Golden Mikes 2014 awards as the distinguished jury zeroed in on the best in Indian radio advertising. The jury met in Mumbai on January 22, 2014 to deliberate on the 537 entries received across 41 categories for the awards. The 11-member jury panel for Golden Mikes 2014 is led by Bharat Patel, Former Chairman, P&G (Hygiene & Health) and Former Chairman of ISA.
Speaking on the awards, jury member and Country Head (Media & Digital), Philips India, Amit Tiwari said, “It is good to see an initiative that supports people from the radio sector. They (radio sector) need to feel that they are appreciated.”
Other jury members also appreciated the creativity of some of the ads. Amitabh Srivastava, Regional Head, South Asia, AIB, commented, “Some of the ads used the medium really well. As a person used to international radio, I have to say that some of them have done a really good job.”
