Trends in FMCG sector advertising in Print: AdEx study

Print ad volumes of FMCG sector grew by 14% in 2006 over 2005, but saw only a 3% rise in Jan-Apr ’07. A whopping 76% of advertising of FMCG sector went to Newspapers, with publications from North and West zones contributing more than 60%. HLL continue to maintain its No. 1 position in the first quarter of the calendar year.
