PTI elects Hormusji N Cama as Chairman; Riyad Mathew appointed as Vice Chairman

Managing Director of Bombay Samachar, Hormusji N Cama was elected as the new Chairman of the Press Trust of India (PTI). Riyad Mathew, Director of Malayala Manorama was elected as Vice Chairman.
Cama succeeds Mohan Gupta, Chairman and Managing Director of Jagran Prakashan as Chairman. He is also a member of the Press Council and Chairman for Readership Studies Council of India along with being the President of the Indian Newspaper Society.
Cama is also on the board of council for Fair Business Practices and Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC).
Additional members of the PTI Board were also elected at their recent meeting. Some of the elected members of the board are Mohan Gupta of Jagran Prakashan, KN Shanth of Deccan Herald, Vineet Jain of Times of India, Aveek Kumar Sarkar of Ananda Bazar Patrika, Viveck Goenka of Indian Express, N Ravi of The Hindu, MP Veerendra Kumar of Mathrubhumi, Sanjoy Narayan of Hindustan Times, Vijay Kumar Chopra of Hind Samachar and R Lakshmipathy of Dinamalar.For more updates, be socially connected with us on
