Week 2 BARC: Dettol Liquid Soap leads Top 10 Brands
The previous week's leader, Trivago slipped to the third position

Dettol Liquid Soap displaced Trivago to take over BARC Top 10 Brands for Week 2 (January 5-11, 2019) with 16,819 insertions while the latter slipped to third spot with 9929 insertions. Santoor Sandal and Turmeric was displaced to the fourth spot with 9879 insertions.
Policybazaar.com and Tide Plus Extra Power entered the category at the fifth and sixth spots with 9841 and 9031 insertions respectively. Harpic Powerplus retained its seventh spot with 8942 insertions. Dr. Ortho Oil and Capsule slipped to the eighth spot with 8566 insertions. Dettol Antiseptic Liquid entered the ninth spot with 8377 insertions. Roop Mantra Ayur Face Cream was at the tenth position with 8367 insertions.
In the same week, in the BARC Top 10 Advertisers list, FMCG majors Hindustan Lever, Reckitt Benckiser, ITC Ltd, and Procter & Gamble continued to lead with 1,20,788, 1,14,626, 44,191 and 33,604 insertions, respectively. Ponds India maintained its fifth position with improved 33,604 insertions.
Godrej Consumer Products re-entered the category at sixth spot with 27,291 insertions. Cadbury’s India climbed to the seventh position with 25,218 insertions while Wipro slipped to the eighth spot with 24,663 insertions. Colgate Palmolive India held on to its ninth spot with 24,061 insertions, while SBS Biotech displaced to the tenth spot with 23,838 insertions.
