Sandeep Kohli named Jury Chair for e4m RetailEX Awards 2025

The e4m RetailEX Awards is returning with its second edition, promising to be bigger, bolder, and more impactful than ever before! This year’s jury will be chaired by Sandeep Kohli, CEO of Novel Jewels, a leader known for his sharp vision and innovative approach to brand building. Kohli, along with the other jury members, will recognise the transformative ideas and celebrate excellence in retail marketing. Under his leadership, the jury will evaluate some of the best work, ensuring that winning campaigns set new benchmarks for creativity, relevance, and effectiveness.
Kohli is the Chief Executive Officer of Novel Jewels Ltd., the jewellery business of the Aditya Birla Group (ABG). He joined ABG in 2024, bringing with him over three decades of distinguished experience in global consumer businesses across geographies and categories with Unilever, from Packaged Food to Personal Care to Beauty & Wellness.
In the past, Kohli has had a distinguished career at Unilever in India and in many other countries. He has excelled in building and leading diverse businesses at Unilever. His strategic leadership has grown businesses in complex and varied markets such as Myanmar, Cambodia, South Asia including India, the Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey.
During his stint in Unilever, Kohli has held several senior positions, including Board member of Unilever Indonesia, General Manager (Beauty & Wellbeing) Unilever Indonesia, Board Member Unilever Middle East & North Africa, Executive Director Beauty & Personal Care, HUL.
Under Kohli’s leadership, the jury will evaluate entries not just on creativity, but also on the measurable impact they create in the marketplace.
The RetailEX Awards aim to celebrate and honour brilliance, innovation, and disruptive ideas transforming the retail marketing landscape by recognising campaigns and initiatives that redefine customer experiences. From blending technology with storytelling to curating consumer journeys, the awards focus on how brands are continuously adapting to the evolving retail landscape.
These awards celebrate the brands, agencies, and individuals whose ingenuity and creativity shape exceptional customer experiences. The winners will be judged across four main categories – Design, Marketing, Best in a Sector and PR Strategy and Innovation, each of which are divided into several sub-categories.
