Rajeev Beotra has earned respect through calm leadership & grace: Swati Sharda

Swati Sharda, Chief Revenue Officer at HT Media Group, has penned a note of gratitude to Rajeev Beotra, saying he has earned respect through calm leadership, consistency, and grace, especially in the toughest moments.

Beotra, the Executive Director – Revenue of HT Media Group, has superannuated from HT Media.

“Today was Rajeev Beotra’s last day with us, and I found myself unexpectedly emotional while saying goodbye. Rajeev was the one who hired me and introduced me to the world of media. It’s a story I’ve shared with almost everyone I’ve met since….because that one decision changed the direction of my journey,” she wrote in the note shared on LinkedIn.

“A few years ago, when I started working directly with him, he spoke about something larger than any one role…about carrying the responsibility of the brand and the people we represent as leaders out in the world. He expected that same standard of leadership from me, the very standard he lived by himself! That perspective has stayed with me and has shaped the kind of leader I continue to become. Over a lifetime in media, Rajeev has earned respect through calm leadership, consistency, and grace…especially in the toughest moments,” it read.

“Thank you, Rajeev, for believing in people, for guiding so many of us, and for leading in a way that made teams stronger together!,” she noted.
