Nykaa ad spends up 33% to Rs 958 cr in FY25

FSN E-Commerce Ventures Ltd, the parent company of Nykaa, reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 6.9 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2025, up 29.2% from Rs 5.3 crore in Q4 FY24. Revenue from operations stood at Rs 2,062 crore, marking a 23.6% increase from Rs 1,668 crore in the same quarter last year.
Segment-wise, the beauty business contributed Rs 1,894.76 crore, up 24.6% from Rs 1,520.21 crore in Q4 FY24. The fashion segment reported revenue of Rs 161 crore, growing 10.9% from Rs 145.35 crore. Revenue from other segments rose to Rs 6 crore from Rs 2.42 crore, an increase of 148%.
Gross merchandise value (GMV) for Q4 FY25 reached Rs 4,102 crore, up 27.5% year-on-year. Net sales value (NSV) grew 23.9% to Rs 2,043 crore from Rs 1,649 crore in Q4 FY24.
Gross profit for the quarter stood at Rs 909 crore, up 28% from Rs 710 crore. Fulfilment expenses increased 22.6% to Rs 192 crore, from Rs 155 crore in Q4 FY24.
Marketing and advertisement expenses rose to Rs 244 crore in Q4 FY25, a 31.18% increase over Rs 186 crore in Q4 FY24. Segment-wise, the beauty business accounted for Rs 157 crore, up 29.8% from Rs 121 crore, while fashion contributed Rs 84 crore, up 35.5% from Rs 62 crore.
For the full year ended March 31, 2025, Nykaa reported a consolidated revenue from operations of Rs 7,950 crore, a 24.5% increase compared to Rs 6,386 crore in FY24.
The beauty vertical remained the dominant revenue contributor with Rs 7,251 crore, up 24.8% from Rs 5,810 crore. Fashion revenue rose to Rs 674.69 crore, a growth of 18.7% over Rs 568.30 crore. Other revenues increased to Rs 23.96 crore from Rs 7.40 crore, a rise of 223.8%.

Marketing and advertisement expenses for FY25 were Rs 958 crore, compared to Rs 720 crore in FY24, a growth of 33.06%. Of this, Rs 620 crore was spent in the beauty segment, up 34.2% from Rs 462 crore, and Rs 331 crore in fashion, up 29.8% from Rs 255 crore.
