Rajesh Kamat, a renowned figure in the media industry, has joined the prestigious jury panel of the upcoming e4m Revenue Leaders 40under40 Awards. Kamat has joined the panel alongside an impressive lineup of dignitaries and visionaries from the advertising, marketing, and media world. His expertise, having held key leadership roles across several media platforms, makes him a valuable addition to the jury.

A media executive turned investor, Kamat has brought a blend of strategic thinking, sharp planning and efficient execution to every role he played in his career. Known for his sharp business acumen and innovative strategies, Kamat currently holds the position of Managing Director at Emerald Media, an investment platform set up by KKR to Invest in Asian Media Sector. He continues to manage the CA Media assets in Asia (Endemol Shine India, OML, Graphic India, NET & Fluence).

Rajesh was previously the COO of Peter Chernin’s Asia-focused private equity fund CA Media. Kamat had formerly launched Viacom18’s popular Hindi GEC network COLORS, which became the leading channel in the country within 9 months. He served as COO of Viacom 18 Group and CEO of COLORS.

Prior to COLORS, Rajesh Kamat launched Endemol India and served as its Managing Director. Previously, he also served as SVP of Commercial & Business Planning at STAR India and held various marketing positions at Coca-Cola and MTV India.

Rajesh has a Bachelor of Engineering degree and also holds a Master's in Business Administration. He has also been named Impact Media Person of Year in 2009 and ‘Outstanding Entrepreneurs of Asia Pacific for 2010. He is an active board member in 10 companies and contributes to the angel investor ecosystem.
