Bajaj Auto ups ad spends by 8.8% in FY25 even as annual profit dips 5%

Bajaj Auto increased its advertising and publicity expenditure by 8.8% in FY25, allocating Rs 530 crore compared to Rs 487.12 crore in the previous year. The rise in marketing investments comes amid a year of strong revenue growth but marginally softer profitability.
For the year ended March 31, 2025, Bajaj Auto posted a total income of Rs 52,468.96 crore, up 13.3% from Rs 46,306.45 crore in FY24. Revenue from operations stood at Rs 50,994.55 crore, a 13.6% increase year-on-year. This included Rs 49,266.95 crore from contracts with customers, up by 12.5%, and Rs 1,727.60 crore in other operating revenue, which surged 58.7%.
Other income rose by 2.7% to Rs 1,474.41 crore from Rs 1,436.02 crore a year ago.
However, despite the strong top-line performance, the company reported a 5% decline in annual net profit, which came in at Rs 7,324.73 crore in FY25 versus Rs 7,708.24 crore in FY24.
