On the occasion of Women’s Day, The Muthoot Group has unveiled a heartfelt tribute to the extraordinary women who quietly power our everyday lives. Through this film, The Muthoot Group acknowledges the invaluable role women play in nurturing families and workplaces equally. The film shines a light on the often-unnoticed and relentless efforts of women who seamlessly manage the demands of home, family care, and professional responsibilities—ensuring that life continues to move forward smoothly every single day.
Narrated through an engaging and thought-provoking storyline, the film presents a powerful role reversal. It follows a man who suddenly finds himself experiencing the day-to-day responsibilities typically managed by the woman in his life. From waking up before everyone else to preparing meals, getting children ready for school, ironing clothes, managing the household, and then rushing to his own workplace for a demanding day, he struggles to keep up with the endless stream of tasks.
The day appears to end with a quiet family dinner, but just when he thinks it is finally over, he hears reminders of unfinished responsibilities—school project work, pending office tasks, and other duties waiting to be completed. Overwhelmed by the mounting pressure, he suddenly wakes up, realizing it was only a nightmare.
That moment of relief quickly turns into reflection. He understands that what seemed overwhelming for just one day is the everyday reality for the woman in his life—performed consistently, often without recognition, and frequently taken for granted.
Commenting on the initiative, Shri Alexander George Muthoot, Joint Managing Director, The Muthoot Group, said, “Through this simple yet powerful story, the film acknowledges the invisible effort, emotional strength, and dedication that women bring to their everyday roles. It reminds us to pause and appreciate contributions that often go unnoticed but are vital to keeping families, communities, and workplaces thriving.
Within our own organisation, we are proud to have more than 11,500 women working dedicatedly forming almost 22% of our total workforce. It is even more heartening that women hold leadership roles across our organisation, with over 1,175 serving as Branch Heads while many others contribute in key leadership positions across various functions. The Muthoot Group also takes humble pride in being recognised as a Great Place to Work for 5 years in a row alongside being India’s No.1 Most Trusted Financial Services Brand for 10 years in a row, as per TRA’s Brand Trust Report. Furthermore, Muthoot Finance has also been recognized with the prestigious FICCI Women Empowerment Award in 2024 and 2025.”
Adding further perspective, Shri Abhinav Iyer, Senior General Manager – Marketing & Strategy, said, “Alongside creating impactful brand and product communications, we at The Muthoot Group are increasingly using storytelling through films to celebrate people who quietly shape our society Last Diwali, we paid tribute to our nation’s soldiers through a film that received tremendous appreciation from audiences across the country. This time, we bring the focus closer home and turn the spotlight to the women in our lives—whose strength, selflessness and silent sacrifices hold families together every day. With this film, we hope to inspire a moment of reflection and gratitude for the remarkable role women play in our lives”
In an industry where financial services can often appear transactional, The Muthoot Group believes in connecting with people through meaningful stories that reflect real-life experiences. By celebrating the everyday strength and resilience of women, the Group aims to build a deeper emotional connection with its audiences—going beyond products and services to honour the people who shape our lives.
With this initiative, The Muthoot Group reaffirms its commitment to celebrating the strength, resilience, and invaluable contributions of women—not just on Women’s Day, but every day.
