Prabhatam Group is set to further consolidate its base in North India with the launch of its regional news channel in Jammu and Kashmir

Sadhna News channel to launch in J&K on July 1

After setting up base in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh, Prabhatam Group is now further consolidating its presence in North India. The group is launching its regional news channel Sadhna News in Jammu and Kashmir on July 1, 2012.

The channel will cover political, social and economic happenings in Jammu and Kashmir, along with entertainment and sports coverage of the region. Channel will be in Kashmiri, Dogri and Hindi languages. The channel will be managed and run from Noida office.

On launching Sadhna News in Jammu and Kashmir, NK Singh, Group Editor, Sadhna News, told exchange4media, “We are launching the regional channel in the state as we want the Kashmiri youth to join the Indian mainstream. We will be targeting all segments of the population since we want to make everyone aware of what is happening around them.”

The new channel is being promoted through all social networks. Singh further said, “Our channel will be a vehicle for the local advertisers as well as established advertisers. In future, we are expecting to target every viewer segment of the country.”

Prabhatam Group is the promoter of four TV channels – Sadhna Devotional, Sadhna News Madhya Pradesh/ Chhattisgarh, Sadhna News Bihar/Jharkhand, and Sadhna News Uttarakhand/ Himachal Pradesh.
