Ricoh & Aircel Chennai Open strengthen their partnership

The organisers of the Aircel Chennai Open have announced that the tournament has extended its association with Ricoh as official sponsor. Ricoh is a global technology company specialising in office imaging equipment, production print solutions, document management systems and IT services.

In its capacity as an official sponsor, Ricoh will continue to offer critical state-of-the-art printing and copying services and aid in the smooth conduct of Aircel Chennai Open 2014. As a global ATP partner, Ricoh has been associated with leading global tennis events that include the coveted Barclays ATP World Tour Finals. This is Ricoh’s third year of continued association with India’s only and South Asia’s premier ATP World Tour tennis event.

The 19th edition of Aircel Chennai Open will be held at Chennai’s SDAT Stadium from December 30, 2013 to January 5, 2014. The player field for the 2014 tournament will see an impressive line-up of both Indian and international players.

The $450,000 Aircel Chennai Open is owned by IMG and operated and organised by IMG Reliance. The title sponsor for the tournament is Aircel and the event is supported by a consortium of sponsors in the Platinum category. Started in 1996, by IMG, the event has completed successful years of existence, branding Chennai and India on the global tennis map thus creating a legacy of sorts of promoting international tennis in India.
