In an inspiring display of youthful innovation and civic leadership, Radhika Ojha, a student of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program at Shiv Nadar School, Noida, has emerged as a national changemaker at the prestigious COWE India’s Youngpreneurs Summit 2025. Her award-winning initiative, Project Raahat, redefines urban spaces with inclusivity, sustainability, and dignity—earning her accolades as a voice for a more compassionate future.

Themed ‘Rising Stars: Made in Mind, Built in Bharat’ , the summit spotlighted transformative ideas from young Indian minds. Among them, Radhika’s Project Raahat stood out for its bold mission: to dismantle hostile architecture and create urban designs that care for society’s most vulnerable—school guards, bus drivers, informal workers, children, and the elderly.

Through a thoughtful blend of traditional terracotta craftsmanship and cutting-edge sustainable design, Project Raahat introduces passive cooling pavilions, reimagined bus shelters, and humane guard pods—spaces that offer relief from extreme heat while fostering community interaction. The initiative supports local artisans, preserves cultural heritage, and aligns with India’s commitment to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Radhika credits her success to the environment of encouragement and innovation fostered at Shiv Nadar School, Noida. “This recognition reflects not just my effort but the values instilled in me by my school—compassion, creativity, and responsibility. It reminds me that young voices can reimagine urban spaces—not as concrete jungles but as havens of dignity, comfort, and inclusion. At Shiv Nadar School, I found the courage to turn this vision into reality.”

Already in discussions for implementation across Delhi, Noida, and Gujarat, Project Raahat presents a scalable blueprint for inclusive, climate-resilient urban design. It’s being hailed as a model of how young minds, guided by supportive institutions, can address global challenges with local solutions.
