Network18’s flagship platform, the 'News18 Rising Bharat Summit 2025', is set to convene on April 8th and 9th at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, with Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivering the keynote address. Themed “Youthful Aspirations: Dream Big, Achieve More, Rise Together,” the summit aims to explore how India’s 420 million-strong youth population can shape a Viksit Bharat by 2047.

Bringing together over 100 speakers and 75 sessions, the summit will facilitate dialogue among a diverse array of changemakers — from policymakers and political leaders to entrepreneurs, academics, and cultural icons. Discussions will span crucial domains such as AI-driven governance, economic reforms, sustainability, urbanization, and innovation-led entrepreneurship.

In addition to PM Modi, the summit will see participation from top political leaders including Home Minister Amit Shah; Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Road Transport and Highways; Dr. S. Jaishankar, Minister of External Affairs; Piyush Goyal, Minister of Commerce and Industry; Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister of Railways and IT; and Hardeep Singh Puri, Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas. Other notable attendees include Devendra Fadnavis, Maharashtra’s Deputy CM; Jyotiraditya Scindia, Tejashwi Yadav, and Chirag Paswan.

International voices such as Jeffrey D. Sachs (Columbia University), Børge Brende (WEF), Avi Dichter (Israel), and former NASA astronaut Scott Kelly will lend a global lens to Bharat’s transformation story. Their insights will provide valuable perspectives on sustainability, innovation, and leadership.

The summit will also focus on India's entrepreneurial ecosystem. Leaders like Irina Ghose (Microsoft India), Jay Kotak (Kotak Mahindra Bank), Ashish Chauhan (NSE), and Sindhu Gangadharan (SAP Labs India, NASSCOM) will offer a blueprint for economic empowerment. Wellness coach Luke Coutinho and memory champion Vishvaa Rajakumar will also be featured.

Renowned athletes like Abhinav Bindra and Aparna Popat will discuss the role of sports in nation-building, while musical legends like L. Subramaniam and Kavita Krishnamurthy will elevate the cultural discourse.

A key highlight of the summit is the unveiling of “Samadhan” — a youth-led initiative developed in collaboration with top institutions across India. These solutions target critical issues like air pollution, education reform, and sustainable waste management. Prime Minister Modi will unveil these proposals and engage with the students behind the vision.

With India poised to become a global superpower, the 'Rising Bharat Summit 2025' positions itself as more than just an event — it’s a transformative movement. By spotlighting youthful energy and forward-thinking policy, it aims to catalyze real-world impact on India’s journey to becoming a developed nation by 2047.
