The six minutes short film, written and directed by Prawaal Raman, one of Bollywood’s critically acclaimed directors with titles like Darna Mana Hai, 404, and Main Aur Charles to his credit, has been recognised for its mulit-layered meaning as well as emotional appeal. The film stars Romanian actress Madalina Bellariu Ion, Raj Singh Chaudhary and Sara Arjun in lead roles.

LC Singh, Vice Chairman and CEO of Nihilent, who received the award, along with Madalina Bellariu, said “It is indeed an honour to be winning the Dolphin. In a society that is dramatically changing in terms of adopting technology, the consumers have their own network and communicate with each other like never before. As a consultant, we advise our customers to understand the nature of their consumers’ aspirations, and help them in designing the products and services. The award also reinforces our position that empathy and emotion are central to achieving excellence, something that we have tried to convey in the film.”

Madalina, the lead actress, expressed her delight about being part of this success “The very idea when Prawaal narrated it was beautiful, and as it was like an emotional short film with scope for performance, I immediately said yes to my agent. Prawaal is a fantastic director and today it's no surprise that I’m here at Cannes collecting the award for all our efforts"

Prawaal Raman, the director, mentioned what inspired him to write the story. “The inspiration was my dad and the quote Kahil Gibran had written in his book The Prophet. ‘Your children are not your children. They are the sons and daughters of Life's longing for itself’”. He had this to add, “I am thankful to Aditya Shastri for initiating the project  the actors Madalina, Raj & Sara, and Mr. LC Singh for having such a revolutionary approach towards making corporate films. It is indeed an emotional short film which would appeal to the corporate world.”
