Gauri Awasthi quits Reprise Media; to start own fashion brand
After eight months with Reprise Media, she is taking the entrepreneurial route and is toying on the idea of starting her own fashion brand
Gauri Awasthi Srivastava has put in her papers at Reprise Media, a group company of IPG Mediabrands Group. She had joined Reprise Media as Senior Director Digital and was handling the local and international digital campaigns of Microsoft. She was appointed as lead for strategy, custom media deals, digital media planning.
Srivastava now plans to turn entrepreneur and is exploring other opportunities and also toying on the idea of starting her own fashion brand. “I have been always been excited about e-commerce and have been fascinated with the idea of creating my own brand, which would invoke buyers to make a purchase,” she said.
Srivastava’s career spans more than a decade in digital media. Having started her career with selling and marketing education programmes/ courses, she began her digital journey as a strategic account manager with Times Group’s job portal, Timesjobs.
After a stint of two years with Timesjobs, she moved to Ibibo Group and then later to Vangelz Technologies. At Vangelz, Srivastava was heading the India operations and was instrumental in driving the digital projects and up scaling more business from the UK clientele.
Subsequently, she headed to Ignitee Digital as Business Head, Bangalore, where she was managing clients for both Bangalore and Hyderabad. During her stint at Ignitee, which lasted for two years, Srivastava managed to achieve agency targets and secured to the biggest digital deal with Andhra Pradesh Congress to handle YS Reddy’s election campaign.
After Ignitee, Srivastava moved to Seventymm as Associate VP for Marketing and Product. She was managing the corporate site and was instrumental in spearheading Seventymm’s digital and other marketing communication activities.For more updates, be socially connected with us on
