With air quality levels dropping across major cities and the AQI reaching hazardous zones, BluSmart, a all-electric ride-hailing and EV charging infrastructure network, is stepping up to urge citizens to make sustainable mobility choices. Under its #FightPollutionWithEVolution initiative, BluSmart today launched the fifth edition of its annual MyBluKms challenge to inspire citizens to join the fight against air pollution by opting for electric vehicle (EV) rides. The contest starts on 19th November and will go on for one month till 18th December 2024.
India's air pollution crisis demands urgent solutions, and BluSmart presents a simple, impactful way for citizens to contribute. By choosing BluSmart, riders can help reduce vehicle emissions in real-time, actively improving air quality with every ride demonstrating that personal convenience and environmental responsibility can go hand-in-hand, stated a press release.
By Participating in MyBluKms challenge, the winner will get their hands on a brand new iPhone 16 and the top 10 contestants will get premium hampers worth Rs. 1Lakh, simply by using BluSmart services. Participants can register for the contest on the BluSmart app, start earning points for every kilometre travelled (Rentals: 1Km = 2 Points and City Rides: 1Km = 1 Point), track progress through the in-app leaderboard, and increase their chances of winning exciting goodies.
Anirudh Arun, Co-founder and CEO, BluSmart Fleet said, “With AQI levels spiking across India’s metros, this is a moment for each of us to do our part. Through MyBluKms, we’re encouraging people to take direct action by choosing sustainable transport options, supporting a cleaner environment while reaping rewards. Our goal is to inspire everyone to make every kilometer count toward a healthier, greener city. Together, we can #FightPollutionWithEVolution and make a meaningful difference.”
