Avon Beauty Products India announced the appointment of Ujjwal Sankar Mukhopadhyay as the new Managing Director. He will be responsible for driving growth and expansion in India.
As Avon transforms itself into a global company, Mukhopadhyay’s business insights and leadership will be instrumental in enhancing the brand’s value in India, said a company release.
Mukhopadhyay said, “Avon is strongly poised to take the growth trajectory to the next level. We have quadrupled business in India over the last three years, which is a clear indication that Avon’s offerings, both from an opportunity as well as product perspective, are well accepted.”
Mukhopadhyay has been associated with Avon as Director – Supply Chain. He has over 20 years of experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry. He has a strong background in direct selling.
