Adman Sandeep Goyal unveils the mantra to land a job

Adman, entrepreneur, author Sandeep Goyal and lawyer-in-the-making daughter, Carol Goyal, have joined hands to write a get-ahead primer, ‘You’re Hired!’. The book walks its readers through the rights and wrongs of an interview, the varied perspectives of hiring organisations and how best to prepare for the job on offer.

‘You’re Hired!’ is a simulation of reality driven life interviews, as the Goyals decode the jargon, and mumbo-jumbo, over job interviews for prospective candidates,  and outline the expectations of the organisation as well as the aspirant. Sandeep Goyal had earlier written the book ‘The Dum Dum Bullet’.

Announcing the release of the book, Sandeep Goyal said, “My own journey from a small town boy from Chandigarh, to being a significant stakeholder and Chairman of the India JV of the world’s largest ad agency, has been a great learning. I have given, and taken, hundreds of interviews over the years. Some were fun. Some were difficult. Each was unique. Depicting those real life instances with a perfect amalgamation of emotion – nervousness to self-confidence – has been an experience of a lifetime. This book is a presentation of what happens, what surprises and what wins.”

“Our new book is a simulation of real life interviews. With real settings. Real interviewers. Real interviewees. Real emotions. Real questions. Real answers. Real dilemmas. Real tears. And real feedback,” said Carol Goyal.

The book is now available for sale on online retail sites such as Flipkart, Snapdeal, and Homeshop18. The e-book is available on Amazon and iTunes.
