Aaj Tak has partnered with SRK’s upcoming film Chennai Express in a bid to highlight key social issues across the country.
The news channel will run co-branded promos under the name ‘Aaj Tak Chennai Express’. This special segment will address issues related to public hygiene, women safety and a host of other issues that are making news.
In the last few months, Aaj Tak has done aggressive tie-ups with movies to reach out to masses.
The intent of the campaign is to find an instant connect with audiences and raise issues that concern viewers. “The importance of reaching the right target audience through the most appealing vehicle is the key to assured success. Both brands lend each other these assets and hence the association,” said Vivek Malhotra, Vice President – Marketing and Strategic Planning and Research, TV Today.
Aaj Tak reporters are visiting various cities such as Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Bhopal, Lucknow, Patna, etc. to focus on some major issues concerning these places.
