Video: Digital is at the centre of marketing at Red Bull - Bhaskar Sharma
The GM of Red Bull India spoke about the brand’s strong digital bet and the need to celebrate work in the digital space at the Grand Finale of IDMA 2013
Digital is the medium of the hour. A very large proportion of audience is influenced by digital and thus, accolades hold a lot of importance in this medium, expressed Bhaskar Sharma, General Manager – Red Bull India.
Digital creates a lot of content. This not only gives an opportunity to market through integrating the brand message with content, but also create content to fill the need gap witnessed at various fronts.
Red Bull has been very active in terms of digital marketing. To explain their digital play, Sharma shed light on how it all began. Red Bull was initially involved in a lot of marketing events which created a lot of media content. Sharma said that they soon realised that all that content could be used effectively, for which Red Bull media house was established. With the increasing importance of digital, digital marketing came in the centre of marketing for Red Bull.
At the Grand Finale of IDMA 2013, Sharma spoke about importance of people of the digital fraternity coming together and celebrating the work done in this space.
