Tyroo Direct wins Yepme’s performance marketing duties

Online fashion portal Yepme.com has awarded its performance marketing duties to Tyroo Direct, one of India’s largest performance marketplaces. Tyroo Direct will be responsible for driving and delivering the performance marketing requirements of Yepme.com.

Vivek Gaur, CEO, Yepme.com, has confirmed the development to exchange4media. Commenting on the development, Siddharth Puri, Business Head, Tyroo Direct, said, “We are extremely pleased to be the affiliate partners for Yepme.com. Tyroo Direct works with almost all e-commerce companies and delivers close to 4,000 transactions daily for clients. We are certain that with our expertise in the e-commerce space we will be able to offer value, relevant traffic and scale to Yepme.com.”

It may be recalled that Yepme had recently awarded its media planning and buying duties to Lintas Media Group. The brand had also recently signed on actress Kangana Ranaut as its style ambassador.

Tyroo Direct will work closely with Yepme.com to drive transactions and cater to Yepme’s customers across metros, Tier II and Tier III towns. Speaking on the affiliate partnership, Gaur said, “The opportunity in the online apparel market is immense. The Indian apparel industry is estimated to be worth Rs 1,876 billion in FY11 and is expected to grow at a CAGR of 8.7 per cent till FY16. Over the next 3-5 years, 15-20 per cent of the apparel market is expected to shift to the online space. Yepme is targeting a turnover of $25 million this year, scaling up to over $500 million in the next 3-4 years. To achieve this growth and scale, it’s imperative for us to be associated with trusted partners, and Tyroo Direct being the leader in online performance marketing space, was an apparent choice.”

Tyroo Direct works with over 3,500 publishers across the globe to deliver a variety of campaigns in categories such as e-commerce, travel, banking and finance, automobiles, jobs, matrimony, etc. Tyroo Direct is currently working with 90 per cent of the e-commerce ventures in India.

Tyroo, a SVG company, had acquired DGM India, a subsidiary of ADH Plc, along with DGM India’s Managing Director Anurag Gupta in April this year.
