Rooter partners with sports data brand Opta Sports; gears up for ICC Champions Trophy 2017

Rooter, the digital platform that connects, engages, and helps sports audiences interact with each other on a real-time basis during sports events has announced its partnership with Opta Sports, one of the world’s largest sports data brands. Under the partnership, Opta will power all data points – including live scores, commentary, and stats – for cricket, football, F1, basketball, and tennis on Rooter, beginning next week during the ICC Champions Trophy.

The partnership between Rooter and Opta is already being considered a huge development for the sports industry, and will further enhance Rooter’s reputation as a trusted and viable channel for sports brands and teams to reach out to and connect with prospective fans. The increase in the number of available real-time data points to around 50 will also significantly enhance the user experience on the platform; Rooters playing the Live Match Prediction game will have convenient access to in-depth match insights, allowing them to make more accurate and data-driven predictions.
