Onward Mobility launches India’s 1st offline retail mobile app store
After opening ‘MobiWorld’ in Mumbai, Onward Mobility plans to open 10 to 15 similar outlets across other major metros in current financial year.

Onward Mobility is a VAS development and marketing company with a unique business model of selling and distributing its own and third party products (applications and VAS) through retail counters across India. The company has now opened country’s first offline mobile retail store in Mumbai. Onward Mobility has also extended its product portfolio by extending the launch of MobiGames a select of premium mobile games applications. It has tied-up with over 10,000 prominent mobile retail stores all across India in order to market mobile applications. It has presence across 8 states in the country and has been rapidly expanding.
The application MobiGames is powered by Herocraft which is a pack of 10 games. Onward Mobility offers a wide range of apps that includes all premium applications like MobiCop, MobiSecret, MobiCopy, MobiDND, MobiRecord & MobiProtect powered by Junos Secure & Bull Guard. Onward Mobility is first of its kind offline app store which caters to the mass consumer base of India. The paid apps range starts from Rs 200 to Rs 1000.
Talking about the new development, Arun Menon, Founder & CEO, Onward Mobility said, “We are very happy to announce the launch of first of its kind VAS concept store where end customers would be able to experience, buy and side-load mobile apps, games, content and mVAS." The company also has a comprehensive strategy in place to scale up the number of MobiWorld stores all over the country.

Onwards Mobility initially plans to initiate print, radio and OOH promotional. In next phase, it will leverage social media and television campaign. Annually Onward Mobility spends 15 to 20 percent on its marketing initiatives. Onward Mobility has also already entered into strategic partnerships with many content publishers and intends to roll out their partner’s products like Games, Entertainment, Music, Education and other content through their unique offline Distribution channel in the next few months.
