Now, the hunt for sponsorship is just a click away

The hunt for sponsorship will soon be a task that one can operate virtually, thanks to a unique web platform called The Sponsorship Company. The Sponsorship Company helps individuals, organisations and institutions connect with brands across the country. It is an initiative by certain key stakeholders who have collectively spent over 25 years in the sponsorship industry. The company has invested in research to understand this space and gathered information from sponsorship seekers and potential brands in order to create this platform.

The Sponsorship Company has over 200 brands as clients, including Toyota, Dabur, Red Bull and Kotak, among others.

In order to avail of the services, one needs to post a proposal, based on the category of the proposal, the platform reaches out to brands that have enrolled in those categories. If the sponsor shows interest in the proposal, then the platform acts as a medium between the seeker and the sponsor to close the best deal. The platform also offers product development services that help sponsorship seekers to make custom made proposals as per their needs.

Commenting on the company’s philosophy and its team, Subramanian Iyer, Managing Director, The Sponsorship Company, said, “Sponsorship marketing is very ad hoc in nature. We wanted to develop a platform that has all the top brands in the country on a single platform and make sure all interesting proposals from the market reach the brand custodians. Currently, we are a 12-member team and operate out of Mumbai. We will be expanding soon and a lot of aggressive hires are planned for our sales and sponsor management departments.”
