Manish Kalra, Chief Business Officer for Global Markets at ZEE5, has quit, according to highly placed sources who confirmed the development to e4m. He will now be serving a 90-day notice period.
Kalra, who recently assumed responsibility for global markets, played a significant role in the streaming platform's growth during his tenure.
Kalra is a seasoned veteran in the online business and marketing industries, with over 20 years of experience. Prior to joining ZEE5 in 2020, he held leadership positions at prominent companies like Amazon, MakeMyTrip, HomeShop18, Dell, and Craftsvilla, serving as Chief Marketing Officer, Chief Business Officer, and CEO.
Kalra's educational background includes an MBA from XLRI, Jamshedpur, and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh.
