Gomti Shankar, who was the Commercial Leader for Asia Pacific,Middle East and Africa, at RateGain and former Netflix and Taboola Executive is no more.
Shankar passed away earlier this week. With over two decades of experience, she held pivotal roles at global firms such as Netflix, Taboola, Vodafone, and Philips.
At Taboola, she served as the Country Manager for India, where she successfully doubled advertising revenue and expanded the platform’s reach to 80% of the mobile audience. As Director of Business Development for South Asia at Netflix, she spearheaded innovative enterprise partnerships, contributing significantly to the platform’s subscriber growth and revenue streams.
Colleagues and peers fondly remember her as an inspiring leader who combined professionalism with warmth and genuine care for her teams.
