Shaina NC, fashion designer and politician, expressed her excitement about being a part of the jury for the esteemed e4m Play Streaming Media Awards 2025. The Content and Talent Jury Meet for the sixth edition of the awards was held on March 17 in Mumbai.

“One looks at the OTT platform, normally thinking of it just as entertainment, but I think thriller, spiritual drama, content, international series, and documentaries on the web are very important. India being the pioneer of this kind of creativity, I'd like to congratulate the entire team that has put together this event,” she said, describing her experience of being a part of the e4m Play Streaming Media Awards 2025.

She contributed to key decisions at the jury meet, drawing on her deep understanding of the intersection between media, creativity, and public influence to evaluate groundbreaking content and share valuable insights. Further, she emphasised India’s great cultural ethos and background, highlighting how these factors must be kept in mind while evaluating and understanding content and its impact on people.

“I'm so glad to see so many women here as part of the core committee,” she remarked, adding that inclusivity on all levels is key to empowering creators to leverage OTT platforms to better influence society.

Shaina firmly believes in giving back to society — a core value she was raised with. She seamlessly balances her profession in fashion with her passion for politics, recognising the importance of public service. “

“Fashion is clearly my profession, and politics is my passion. I’ve always believed that giving back to society is a responsibility, not a choice. Now is the time for professionals like myself to contribute to public service. I have built my name, fame, and success in fashion, but integrity remains non-negotiable,” she concludes, explaining how ‘NC’ in her name always stands for ‘Non-Corruptible’.
