Nikhil Taneja is a Mumbai-based entrepreneur, writer, storyteller, and mental health advocate making a significant impact in India’s youth media landscape. As the co-founder and CEO of Yuvaa, he leads a purpose-driven media and impact organization dedicated to creating socially conscious content and fostering meaningful conversations around mental health, gender sensitivity, and youth empowerment.

With over a decade of experience in the Indian media and entertainment industry, Taneja has played a crucial role in shaping digital content, particularly during his time at Y-Films, the youth wing of Yash Raj Films, where he led development and production. He was part of the team behind The 6 Pack Band, which won the Cannes Grand Prix Glass Lion in 2016. His media journey also includes stints at Viacom18 Digital, MTV India, and Hindustan Times.

Beyond media, Taneja is an educator, having taught at Jai Hind College for over seven years. His commitment to youth issues extends globally, as he serves on the Global Advisory Board of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation's Goalkeepers Initiative, focusing on the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.

As the Festival Creative Director of India Film Project, he has facilitated conversations with icons like Ayushmann Khurrana, Vicky Kaushal, and Bhuvan Bam. Recognized for his influence, he recently won the Best Community Building & Social Impact Influencer award at Impact Digital Influencer Awards 2024. A dynamic voice for change, Nikhil Taneja continues to inspire young minds through media, advocacy, and storytelling.
