The account was contested last month through a multi-agency pitch, which included incumbent agency Contract among others. Work on the account will start with immediate effect out of Rediffusion’s Mumbai office.

The session on ‘Media service brands and media owners: Cross purposes or same team’ at the exchange4media Conclave 2010 saw the panel discuss at length the various issues that have marred the relationship between media owners and media service agencies. Moderated by Ajay Kakar, the session saw Satyajit Sen and Sudha Natrajan representing the media service brands, while the media owners’ side was represented by Maheshwar Peri and Rahul Dev.

The next session that engaged that audiences on the Delhi leg of the exchange4media Conclave 2010 was, ‘Evolved Marketer: Lessons of an unprecedented Slowdown.’ It witnessed the participation of Gaurav Gupta, Director – Marketing, General Motors India, Himanshu Khanna, Director- Marketing, Wrigley India and Santosh Kanekar, Director - Marketing, Diageo India.

The Delhi leg of the exchange4media Conclave 2010 was held in the Capital on June 9. The annual flagship event of the exchange4media Group, the Conclave is special this year as it marks the commencement of the Group’s 10th Anniversary celebrations. The theme for the Conclave this year is ‘Rebooting the Indian media and advertising industry’. The first session that kicked off the Conclave delved on ‘Media Service Brands – a creation of the past decade; what is next?’ and witnessed some riveting arguments from the star studded panel.

The exchange4media Conclave 2010 concluded with a Power Panel that was marked by some intense debate. The panellists – Ashok Venkatramani, Madhukar Kamath, Jasmin Sohrabji, Sam Balsara, Sivakumar Sundaram – gave their views on the learnings from the decade gone by and the expectations from the next decade. Session Chairperson Vir Sanghvi encompassed even the audience in the debate, which made the session very interactive and involving.

The Keynote Address at exchange4media Conclave 2010 on June 9, 2010 in New Delhi was delivered by Tim Love, Vice Chairman, Omnicom Group & CEO, Omnicom APIMA. The session chairperson was G Krishnan, CEO, TV Today. And the topic at hand was – ‘Emerging role of India in the global context: Taking the giant leap from developing to developed nation.’ Tim Love spoke on India in the global context and the role India has to play in the global economy.
