Hyundai Kia Automotive Group has awarded its media planning and buying duties to Havas Media’s MPG in India following a global review. MPG will take charge of all media activities across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, in addition to some markets in Asia and Latin America. It is believed that Interpublic network Initiative will continue to handle the estimated consolidated Hyundai Kia business in the US and Australia.

Bates 141 will handle the creative business for TVS Motors’ new motorbike portfolio. The win comes in the wake of a multi-agency pitch and the account size is pegged upwards of Rs 20 crore. Officials from Bates 141 have confirmed the news.

It is learnt from sources close to the development that V Chandrasekaar Barathi (Chandru), Senior VP, Zee South Syndication, has put in his papers. Chandru was earlier Business Head of Zee Tamil and had taken his new responsibility in July this year. He has been with the company for around two years now.
