‘Deal aa No Deal aa’ to premier on Sun TV from October 31

Sun TV Network is set to launch the Tamil version of the internationally acclaimed game show, ‘Deal or No Deal’. The Tamil version of the Irish Endemol’s game show will be known as ‘Deal aa No Deal aa’ and will premiere on October 31. The show will be aired on Saturdays and Sundays between 8:30 pm and 9:30 pm.

HT Media Q2 PAT up at Rs 31.4 cr; total revenues up at Rs 348.1 cr

HT Media Ltd has reported a PAT of Rs 31.4 crore in the second quarter ending September 30, 2009, as against Rs 16.3 crore in the corresponding quarter of FY09, representing a PAT margin expansion to 9 per cent from 5 per cent. Total revenues also increased by 4 per cent to Rs 348.1 crore from Rs 334.2 crore in Q2 FY10.

DishTV Q2 revenues jump 49 pc at Rs 257.9 crore

Dish TV India Ltd has reported a 49 per cent growth in its Q2 gross revenues at Rs 257.9 crore, as compared to Rs 173.3 crore in the corresponding quarter in FY09. The DTH service provider also narrowed its Q2 net loss to Rs 56.13 crore from a loss of Rs 154.1 crore in Q2 of FY09.
