O&M’s Sonal Dabral is all set to join BatesAsia in a dual capacity from October 2007. He comes in as the Regional Executive Creative Director, Asia Pacific, as well as Chairman of Bates David Enterprise, India. He would be working closely with India CEO Subhash Kamath.
Mobile2win India, a leading player in the wireless value added services field, has roped in Rajat Jain as a Partner in the company. Prior to this, Jain was Managing Director of The Walt Disney Company in India and before that, Head of Sony SET MAX. He takes over as MD and CEO of Mobile2win.

The new redefined MTV that premiered on July 21, 2007 has seen a change in the baseline from ‘MTV Enjoy’ to ‘It is My MTV’. The channel aims to be more interactive. As Ashish Patil, General Manager, MTV India, and VP, Creative & Content, puts it, “It will be for the youth and by the youth.”

Doing its bit to counter global warming, Havas Communications has initiated a programme of carbon emissions reduction and has been approved as a holder of the ZeroCO2 certification of carbon neutrality. India is now the sixth country where this programme will be carried out.
Plans for INX Media’s general entertainment channel are fructifying fast. The media entity has zeroed in on 11 production partners for the first content line-up of the channel. Even as the officials didn’t divulge a launch date, it is believed that the target date is in November, 2007.
TRAI has released a consultation paper on Headend-in-the-Sky (HITS). HITS is a satellite-based delivery platform for delivering multi-channel television signals to cable operators across the country. It is capable of delivering TV signals in digital form with addressability feature.
