Wajid with over 15 years of experience was previously associated with Times Group, Anand Bazar Patrika and HT Media as National Sales Head for Mint.

Commenting on the new appointments, Srinivasan said, “Contrary to popular perception, Vikatan Group is much more than a magazine media group. For the last two years, Vikatan has moved to providing holistic content solutions in order to deliver engaged audiences across platforms. Our brand solutions team organizes more than 150 brand engagements & activations each year for our clients. We see ourselves as platform for brands who are reaching out their relevant TG in Tamil Nadu and across Tamil Diaspora.”

“I welcome Alok, Vijaydas and Shaila to the Vikatan family. Besides bringing in a fresh perspective to Vikatan Group, they will be the face of the Vikatan brand in their respective regions. With their wealth of experience of handling national clients, Alok, Vijaydas and Shaila will be responsible for nurturing new clients and agency relationships in their respective regions,” said Srinivasan.

“Tamil Nadu is a P1 market for many national brands. Our retail, FMCG and white goods clients are among those who have benefitted immensely from these solutions we have been able to provide them. Our TN team is very strong and we are looking forward to strengthen our national presence. The combined experience these professionals bring in, will certainly take the Vikatan Group to new strengths,” concluded Srinivasan.
