Tata Consumer Products records 5.9% YoY growth in net profit in FY25

The company’s total income rose 15% to Rs 17,811.55 crore in FY25

Tata Consumer Products Limited (TCPL) has reported a 5.9% year-on-year (YoY) growth in its consolidated net profit for the financial year ended March 31, 2025. The group’s net profit stood at Rs 1,287.1 crore, up from Rs 1,215.4 crore in FY24, as per the company’s audited consolidated financial results.

The company’s total income rose 15% to Rs 17,811.55 crore in FY25 from Rs 15,451.47 crore a year earlier, driven by strong operational performance. Revenue from operations contributed Rs 17,618.30 crore to the topline, up from Rs 15,205.85 crore in FY24, while other income declined marginally to Rs 193.25 crore from Rs 245.62 crore.

For the quarter ended March 31, 2025, the group reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 348.72 crore, compared to Rs 281.92 crore in the December 2024 quarter and Rs 212.26 crore in Q4 FY24. Quarterly revenue from operations stood at Rs 4,608.22 crore, while total income reached Rs 4,664.73 crore.

The Branded Business, which includes sales of packaged tea, coffee, water, and food products in India and international markets, remained the primary revenue driver. Revenue from the India Branded Business grew to Rs 11,240.71 crore in FY25, up from Rs 9,736.47 crore in the previous year. The International Branded Business also posted strong numbers, rising to Rs 4,548.55 crore from Rs 3,925.43 crore.

Overall, the Branded Business contributed Rs 15,789.26 crore in revenue, compared to Rs 13,661.90 crore in FY24. The Non-Branded Business, which includes plantation and extraction operations, saw revenue rise to Rs 1,909.53 crore from Rs 1,577.39 crore.

Tata Consumer Products, which houses leading brands across tea, coffee, water, salt, and other packaged goods, has steadily strengthened its presence both in India and internationally.
