Hema Singh Rance appointed Non-Executive Independent Director of TV Today, gets MIB nod

TV Today Network Limited has finalised the process of appointing Hema Singh Rance as the Non-Executive Independent Director of the company. She has been appointed for a term of five consecutive years w.e.f. May 28, 2025, the regulatory filing stated.

The company had informed about this appointment on February 11, 2025, subject to the approval of the shareholders and the approval of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB).

In a regulatory filing on Mya 28, the company said, "In furtherance to our intimation dated February 11, 2025 with respect to the appointment of Ms. Hema Singh Rance (DIN: 06403266) as a Non-Executive Independent Director of the Company, subject to the approval of the Shareholders and the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India (MIB) whichever is later. Now, this is to inform that subsequent to the approval of shareholders passed with requisite majority on March 26, 2025 via postal ballot, MIB vide its letter dated May 28, 2025 has granted its approval for the same as well. Accordingly, the appointment of Ms. Hema Singh Rance as a Non-Executive Independent Director of the Company has become effective from May 28, 2025".
