Adobe has acquired Indian AI automation startup Rilo, less than a year after its launch. IIT Bombay alumni Dhruv Jaglan and Georgi Boby founded Rilo in September 2025.

Rilo was built to make complex automation accessible to non-technical users. Its platform allows users to describe workflows in plain English, with AI agents then building and running those workflows across hundreds of tools.

The startup later shifted its focus towards what it described as ‘AI employees’ for marketing and go-to-market teams. These agents could handle tasks spanning competitive intelligence, prospecting, LinkedIn outreach, Reddit marketing, social content and campaign research. The platform also emerged as one of the early competitors to Anthropic’s Claude Cowork.

Within months of its launch, Rilo had attracted more than 10,000 users and secured funding from Peak XV Partners and Z47/DeVC at a reported $10 million valuation.

The financial terms of the deal remain undisclosed.
