Škoda Auto Volkswagen India ramps up ad spend 20% to Rs 807 cr in FY25

Škoda Auto Volkswagen India Pvt Ltd increased its advertising and promotional expenses to Rs 807.49 crore in FY25, up 19.5 per cent from Rs 676.01 crore in FY24.
Revenue from operations stood at Rs 19,052.97 crore, compared with Rs 18,960.10 crore in the previous year, reflecting a 0.5 per cent rise.
Other income declined to Rs 1,087.04 crore from Rs 1,115.84 crore, a fall of 2.6 per cent. Consequently, total income edged up to Rs 20,140.01 crore in FY25 against Rs 20,075.95 crore in FY24, an increase of 0.3 per cent.
Profit for the year moderated to Rs 93.94 crore, lower than Rs 95.88 crore a year earlier, marking a 2 per cent decline.
