Ruby Bana steps down as Chief Strategy Officer, Madison Media

Ruby Bana steps down as Chief Strategy Officer after a four year stint with Madison Communications, confirm sources. September 14th was her last working day. Her next destination is unknown as of now.

Madison Media brought Ruby Bana on board as Chief Strategy and Insights Officer for its Bangalore office in September 2011. Bana’s previous assignment was with Havas Media, where she was Chief Intelligence Officer for Havas Media APAC Region. She was based in India, but covered the territory of India, China, Indonesia, Australia, India, Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia.

She has over 21 years of experience in media, spanning strategic planning, insights and hardcore media planning and buying, working with media agencies like Havas Media, Maxus and GroupM. She has worked on a wide spectrum of brands ranging from Danone, Reckitt Benckiser to Britannia, Titan, Himalaya, Phillips, Shoppers Stop, Mitsubishi and many others.

She is an alumnus of Delhi University.
