Mondelez global advertising creative goes to WPP and Publicis

While Digitas will lead for Publicis in the gum and biscuit categories, Ogilvy and its sister agency David will lead for WPP

Mondelez has decided to go with WPP and Publicis for its global advertising, media reports have said.

The creative review process started at the beginning of this year.

This is part of the company’s move to streamline its marketing operations.

It will also roped in some local agencies like the UK’s VCCP, TMA in the US, and BETC in Western Europe.

While Digitas is reported to lead for Publicis in the gum and biscuit categories, Ogilvy and its sister agency David will lead for WPP.

Martin Renaud, Chief Marketing Officer at Mondelez International, was quoted in media reports as saying: “Our consumer-centric focus, our purpose-driven brands and our digital ambitions need a powerful agency model to support them."

Mondelez has earlier worked with IPG, Dentsu and Havas.
