Maxus retains Shoppers Stop media mandate
The multi-agency pitch saw participation from all the major agencies
Shoppers Stop one of India’s leading fashion retailers (operator of large format department stores, home stores, specialty stores like Crossword, Mothercare, M.A.C, and hypermarkets) had held a media pitch a few months earlier. The multi- agency pitch saw participation from all the major agencies. The pitch has resulted in Maxus from the GroupM umbrella retaining the business, confirm industry sources.
The retailer reported a Revenue from Operations of Rs. 910.2 crore, a jump of 3% over Q4FY16, and EBIDTA at Rs. 58.3 crore a growth of 2.1% over Q4FY16 for the quarter ended March 31st, 2017, and has 80 stores in 38 cities across the country currently.
It was also in the news for its latest campaign, which celebrates the joy of shopping and echoes the company’s strong intent to ‘Bring the romance back to retail’, which saw significant traction on digital media as well.
