Versatile actor Ajay Devgn celebrates his 50th birthday today. One of the most popular and influential actors of Hindi cinema, Devgn has appeared in over a hundred Hindi films with a career spanning more than two decades. Starting his journey with Phool Aur Kaante, the actor has given numerous hit films such as Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai, Golmaal, Raajneeti, Singham, Bol Bachchan and Singham2. Like many Bollywood stars, the actor ventured into film production in 2000 when he established his own production company by the name of Ajay Devgn FFilms.
In 2015, he established a VFX company called NY VFXWAALA named after his kids Nysa and Yug. Later on, he started multiplex chain NY Cinemas and plans to launch 100 new multiplex theatres across India by this year. In October 2016, Ajay Devgn was signed as the brand ambassador of Andhra Pradesh to promote the state’s tourism and culture. He was conferred Padma Shri for his contributions towards the industry in the same year.

Vimal Pan Masala
Devgn has been the face of Vimal Pan Masala for quite some time now and has featured in multiple ads promoting the brand in his unique style.
Ajay Devgn associated with Dabur in 2012 for its digestive brand Hajmola and has featured in various campaigns since then. Last year, the brand launched two TVCs with the tagline, Hajmola Huzoor.
It was in 2005, when for the first time Whirpool India used celebrities as the face of the brand. The company roped in husband-wife duo Kajol and Ajay Devgn as their first brand ambassadors for a period of two years. It was a major shift in the advertising strategy of the company. According to reports, the brand spent Rs 45-50 crore on advertising and promotions that year. The company laid out aggressive plans and the duo was seen in many TV commercials.
Bagpiper is one of the most widely advertised Indian whisky brands. Ajay Devgn associated with Bagpiper in 2006 when the brand revamped its logo. The company’s punch line ‘Khoob jamega rang, jab mil bhaitenge teen yaar. aap, main aur Bagpipe’ is still quite famous.
Bagpiper Whisky has always had a strong Bollywood connection. Starting from Ashok Kumar, Pran and Sanjeev Kumar in the early 80s to Dharmendra in late 80s and later Shah Rukh.
Ajay Devgn was roped in by Sangam Textiles as the brand ambassador of their formal men's wear category in 2013.
Sangam India Limited locked a two-year endorsement agreement with the actor. The reason of associating with him was that the brand was expanding the product offerings and network from tier 3 to tier 2 cities, and believed that mass appeal of Ajay Devgn would help them in reaching out to the TG residing in tier 3 towns as well as metros.
