Federal Bank has unveiled a new campaign with a refreshing flip: making savings not just smart, but stylishly sensible.
Launched a few days ago, ‘Savings Ki Vidya’ stars actor and brand ambassador Vidya Balan in a witty, slice-of-life campaign that nudges viewers to rethink the everyday act of saving.
The campaign leans on Vidya’s persona to turn those fleeting, forgettable moments—where we often skip saving—into powerful reminders guided by someone who truly cares.
Anchored in the Bank’s long-standing ethos “Rishta Aap Se Hai, Sirf App Se Nahi,” the campaign dials down the noise on features and rates to celebrate the very decision to save—an act that's often overlooked but foundational to financial well-being. It's less about selling a product and more about reframing a mindset.
Speaking on the campaign, M V S Murthy, Chief Marketing Officer, Federal Bank, said, “‘Savings Ki Vidya’ moves the spotlight to conscious financial choices and long-term relationships. The campaign plays out as a multi-chapter story, where Balan, in her trademark authentic style, slips into the role of a wise-yet-witty friend who nudges people to save—gently but impactfully.
Vidya Balan, Brand Ambassador and who also happens to be a Federal Bank customer, shared, “Federal Bank is maxing the potential of working with me as their ambassador. The witty word play around my name is almost serendipitous given that knowledge helps us make smart choices that lead to prosperity and it’s the everyday moments that make this campaign relatable. A simple storyline which reinforces that those who care about us look out for us. I’ve experienced the Federal Bank ethos of Human at the Core and Digital to the Fore firsthand when I opened an account with them which showed me that they mean it when they say, 'Rishta Aap Se Hai, Sirf App Se Nahi.'”
