EMVIEs 2017: Madison Media wins Grand EMVIE; Wavemaker comes in second in Media Agency of the Year tally
The awards which saw over 816 entries were adjudged by a distinguished jury of around 211 industry leaders through intensive judging sessions across the country
Madison Media won the Grand EMVIE in the Best Media Innovation - Digital - Search category for the 'Asian Paints Corporate - Hindi Search Ads for the First Time in India!' campaign at the 17th edition of EMVIEs 2017. Wavemaker came in second in the overall Media Agency of the Year tally with 4 gold, 11 silver, 13 bronze metals earning a total of 235 points.
Wavemaker won gold metals for the Harnessing the SPIRIT of the youth for Pernod Ricard India, How Vodafone used Airtel's Open network campaign to increase subscribers for Vodafone India, and BOX Office Weekend Planning for One97 Communications Limited campaigns.
The Grand EMVIE worth 20 points won by Madison Media was the only Grand EMVIE of the evening. Madison Media won 3 gold, 4 silver, and 5 bronze, coming in third in the overall Media Agency of the Year tally with 130 points. Madison Media won three gold metals for the A Not So Ezee Challenge for Godrej Ezee, Saffolalife World Heart Day - Protecting the Nation's Heart for Saffola Life, and Angreezi Patshala Funwala Nihar Shanti campaigns.
