MediBuddy, a digital healthcare platform, has launched its first TV campaign - ‘Aapka Health Buddy’.

The TVC will be aired on multiple channels on television and on IPL on Hotstar. The campaign will kick off from 15th September 2020, today and will be on air for a period of 4 weeks on TV. The campaign will also be supported on various digital platforms and other media to ensure 360-degree marketing coverage.

The TVC conveys the message through experiences in the way of ‘a day in a life of’ while wanting to take care of our loved ones in a concerned situation. It plays on relationships, i.e., at times, we tend to panic and forget simple solutions around us only to be reminded by the people we depend on during such times. It also capitalises on the fact that when in need, we trust either our family or our buddies.

Additionally, as market leaders the idea was also to reinforce that MediBuddy is ‘Aapka Health Buddy’, someone who is always there to play its role as part of your family. It also highlights that MediBuddy is an app that you should always have, especially in the given scenario. MediBuddy aims to be there for each one during any health-related need.

Speaking about the campaign, Satish Kannan, Co-founder & CEO, MediBuddy-DocsApp said, “We are delighted to unveil our first TV and digital campaign ‘Aapka Health Buddy’. Through this campaign, we want to communicate to the masses to have faith in their healthcare buddy, friend, MediBuddy and use teleconsultations to address their healthcare needs. It has always been our goal to make quality healthcare accessible to the billion citizens of the country and we will continue working in that direction.”

Ashish Bajaj, Head of Marketing, MediBuddy-DocsApp, said: “The creating of our first TV campaign has been exhilarating and we hope people will connect with the message. We have tried to communicate in an interesting way the fact that MediBuddy is a friend who can be relied on for any healthcare need.”

Through this campaign, which is conceptualised and strategized by ITW Playworx, MediBuddy wants to use its leadership position to encourage people to embrace teleconsultations and in general, make health a priority.
