With the world all geared up to celebrate Friendship Day on Sunday, brands from across sectors have explored all options and come up with digital films, endorsements and campaigns for the day.

SBI Life Insurance


With Friendship Day around the corner, SBI Life Insurance wished its industry mates #FriendshipDay in advance, asking them to join their journey of #MainSeHum.

Acknowledging the industry’s common dream of a well-protected and insured India, SBI Life Insurance sent Friendship Day messages on Twitter to life insurers across the country, triggering a chain of positive conversations from its peers in the insurance space and other social media users. SBI Life insurance was one of the first labels that kicked off the Friendship Day campaign this year.



Honor has launched a campaign called #FriendshipZaraHatke. Through digital clips, the social media campaign aims at embracing unconventional friendships. Honor has urged the audience to celebrate the friendship that is ‘zara hatke’ and doesn't fit into the generic understanding.

On this Friendship Day, Snapchat has come up with its first-ever global campaign. The digital campaign shows how dozens of pairs of friends and family members around the world use the social media app to keep in touch.

Gem Selections

Gem Selections has celebrated the bond of friendship with its campaign #GemOfAFriend.
It has launched a special Friendship Day bracelet. The brand is also running a week-long campaign #GemOfAFriend, in which three lucky winners would get the bracelet by sharing a video story on how their friend is a Gem. 
Pixel Fox Studios
Pixel Fox has come up with designs, highlighting elements of their cuisine - like the three oriental sauces for All Stir Fry, the Wing-A-Beer menu for Hard Rock Cafe and the flavours of different gelatos - signifying the varied personalities of friends. They have also come up with a typographic GIF for Pizza By The Bay, bringing back the nostalgia of days gone by and the many experiences by the bay. For Softweave towels, they have played on the aspect of the towels being eco-friendly.
