Weber Shandwick has appointed Arpit Garg as President, Weber Shandwick India, along with the additional responsibility of leading Weber Advisory, India. In his new role, Garg will focus on driving the organisation’s growth while scaling consulting- and advisory-led services across its India operations.
As part of his mandate, Garg will work closely with CEOs and leadership teams to integrate reputation management, public policy, and strategic communications with core business outcomes. His focus will be on building a strong corporate portfolio and deepening Weber Shandwick’s advisory capabilities in an increasingly complex stakeholder environment.
With over two decades of experience in the communications industry, Garg brings deep expertise in advising senior leadership on reputation building, issue management, and stakeholder trust. Prior to joining Weber Shandwick, he spent more than six years as Co-Lead of the Strategic Communications Group at Adfactors PR, where he advised leading organisations across sectors such as telecom, media and entertainment, infrastructure, technology, e-commerce, and other high-growth industries.
Over the course of his career, Garg has held leadership roles at Genesis BCW, Siemens India, and Vaishnavi Corporate Communications, among others, giving him a blend of agency and in-house experience.
