According to a BSE filing, Rakshit Hargave has been appointed as Britannia Industries’ new Chief Executive Officer and additional Whole-time Director. He will assume the role on December 15, 2025, for a five-year term, pending approval from the shareholders.
The filing stated that Berry had handed in his resignation and was willing to serve the notice period required by his contract. However, the Board of Directors, following the advice of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, accepted his resignation and decided to waive the notice period.
“The Board sincerely thanks him for his valuable contributions and wishes him all the best in his future pursuits,” the company stated.

Before joining Britannia, Berry held several senior leadership roles at PepsiCo, including CEO of PepsiCo Foods India and CEO of International Dairy and Juice, with assignments in India, the Philippines, and Vietnam. He began his professional journey with Unilever India in 1986.
